Rainbow 6 vegas 2 - should be awesome playing co-op over LIVE.
Host controls main guy and 2 teammates, Guest is 4th person in team
Much more emphasis on multiplayer this time although I loved the first one.
Lego Batman - just because lego Star Wars was so much fun and the characters are so funny
Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3) - really didn't like the first one but what i've seen of this new one it looks a bit special
Killzone 2 (PS3) - awesome looking and guns, lots of guns along with impressive animation
Alone in the Dark 5 (X360,PS3) - not seen much proper gameplay yet but the little I have seen looks promising.
Banjo Kazooie 3 (X360) - these games used to be on the N64 or Gamecube, platform game that should be good fun.
Soul Calibur 4 (X360,PS3) - Better than all the other 3d fighters
Mercenaries 2 (X360,PS3) - Big open world like GTA, but with 2 or 3 player co-op and you destroy stuff with tanks, helicopters etc.
Ninja Gaiden 2 (X360) - Similarish to Devil May Cry but meant to be superior in terms of "depth"
Saints Row 2 (X360,PS3) - GTA clone, first one was ok, the new one has full proper online co-op for 2 players, imagine GTA in co-op, oh yes
Resident Evil 5 (X360,PS3) - Don't need to say anymore.
Bionic Commando - (X360,PS3) - An old NES or SNES or Megadrive game I forget which, being made for the new consoles, only seen some snippets but could be good.
Fable 2 (X360) - RPG action type game, should be pretty good. A friend of mine is one of the lead designers
Edit:
Little Big Planet (PS3) - platform game with lots of physics involved with co-op and lots of
user created content.
There are tons more, but I don't have the time at the moment to go looking all of them up
So many good games this year! Off top of my head I'm looking forward to....

Sensible World Of Soccer XBLA
Street Fighter IV
New Gran Turismo
Far Cry 2
Mass Effect (PC)
GTA IV
Resident Evil 5
New Metal Gear Solid
Vegas 2
Alone in the Dark 5
C&C Kanes Wrath
WOW Litch King
Resident Evil 5
Duke Nukem Forever
STALKER Clear Skies
DMC 4
Fable 2
Guitar Hero 4
New Casts
Little Big Planet
Project Origin
Super Smash Bros Brawl

Half Life 2 ep 3
Jagged Alliance 3
Ninja Gaiden 2
Assassins Creed (PC)
Elite 4
Fallout 3
StarCraft 2
Tom Clancy's EndWar
New Silent Hill
Rock Band
PES 2009
X3: Reunion
And anything from Obsidian or BioWare
Possibly:
The Club
Turning Point: Fall Of Liberty
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction
Frontlines: Fuel Of War
Unfortunateley we'll be getting a record number of casual games (more braintraining, Wii fit, etc etc)
Not looking forward to:
Need For Speed 54: Shiney car edition
FIFA 09
15 x Sims expansion packs
And other such franchise milking games with no originality (most form EA)
If GT5 is available in the UK in March 2008, I will send the first person to PM me £10 via Paypal
This offer does not apply to Prologue! If that's not here by March, someone at SCEE needs castrating! I note that play.com are listing that as 28/03/08 though

Is Rainbow Six: Vegas a decent game then, its £17.99 at play at the minute for ps3??
I'd say so yes.
Multiplayer on xbox360 is still quite big too but I only really played the single player and loved it
bit more tactical than most FPS as you command a team of 3 and send the others to scout/cover etc.
I would say most people would put it in competition with DMC Sam.
Both are third person, hack and slash action games, therefore similar
As for RE5, MS have it in their current marketing material for 2008, obviously I expect it to
be pushed back as nearly every single big game has been recently but I was just going by that
I'd say so yes.

Rainbow 6 was the turdest of turdy games that ever graced my xbox.
