its a noisey old thing the rear tyres kick up so many stones and you hear them bouncing around the arches trying to escape! might have to use some SS sludge in the arches to kill some of the noise.. and yes, i think you have a similar exhaust.. its bloody noisey! might even change it for something quieter
surprising how easy it is to drive at low speed thanks to its VVT though

just seen your sig, same induction and exhaust. mines on kyb adjustables and eibach springs rather than apex kit and mine has 18s from a 350Z (8" front and rear running 225s)

And my exhaust is louder than both of yours put together. Apex 3" single silencer (ha ha) system.
Tej, the car needs lots of soundproofing mate. In fact it would have been nice if Nissan had finished off the job of undersealing as well!

luckily theres no ICE going in this car, but even so, it needs a bit of sound proofing! especially in the boot area.. but i guess they kept it lightweight, im still surprised at how little it weighs for such a huge car!
will have to take a look round other SX's at the next few meets

karl - i used to have a system like that but got annoying, so changed it for a goose.
just fitted a short shifter, best mod EVER! if you need to borrow the 12mm flexi head ratchet spanner let me know! it's impossible without it, easy with it.

I need to call Bren as i have put my name down for one. Strange that it is one of the last mods on my list of things that needed doing.
Is the dreaded rattle there?

rattle as in shifter? it's a little clunky and noisy, but nothing really if you have music on.

Sorry Tej, was asking Adam the question on thew rattle as the shifters have a habit of doing it at about 5500rpm.
The clatter you are on about is VVT rattle, it's very common but for some reason my 115k S14 has never done it!
Edit - Just seen your reply Adam. That's good to hear.

Tej, not trying to **** on your chips mate but I really would be carefull with provoking the rear end. As I say, it seems really easy when you see it on TG and the like but in reality it is very VERY difficult to get right and incredibly easy to get wrong (talking from experiance here!).
If you do want to become a drifting god, I'd find a deserted roundabout or car park to practise on, with absolutely massive edges if you slip off. I'd be carefull though, if the police catch you they'll ban you.
Again, nice car BTW.
