nice cars. my mate had same model and it was great fun. 2nd gear in the wet the thing would go sideways with ease - I'm suprised as many older people drive them as they do, seemed a bit "risky" to me in the wet

Tidy car! Before you put the standard recirc dump valve back on, block up the little hole it it which makes it leak above 10psi ish. It holds boost better and makes it spool quicker.
Put it back on though.

Yay, nice one Tej, only just noticed this over on sxoc.
Now there is another 200sx owner on TA. We have to make sure that the ST boys don't take over (although they will never overtake!).
*waits for Jon to come and ban his ar5e

I feel like a trend setter now lol.
Like what has been said here and on sxoc, make sure that you drive careful for a while especially as this is the 'ditchfinder' time of the year. Even now my car can catch me out if i don't pay attention.
If you need any help with the mods let me know, even have a few spare mod parts knocking around already!

i wasnt going to post till i had more pics! but bascially, its noisey, unrefined and laggy but its fast hehe!
the rear bumper definately needs a respray atleast though, but boy is it quick!
put it this way, i accelerated mildly to get upto speed as i joined the A406 (50mph limit!) looked at the speedo and it was reading about 110
i have a feeling this car is going to get me in trouble if im not careful
heres a quick pic in the fading light.. will get more when its clean!

even so, i was looking at buying some BFGs for the Shogun and they come in at £140 a corner!

you wont get 255 35 18 eagle f1's for that price, i know, i had to buy 3 sets in time i had my nismo's on my 200. approx £150 a piece. dont use anything else, they rocked, totally predictable and even when provoked they very rarely let go.

Falken FK452's are not at all bad and the rears would come in at just under a ton each.
Yes F1's are good but not the end of the earth if you do not have them.
Anyway not going to raise an SXOC debate over on here.

I got them close to that price - just over a ton for the XLs
How long did they last for you with how much power was going through them?
I am goin to get them fitted soon I'm not sure if they will live up to all the praise they get - the Pilot Sport IIs were very good

dunno, havent even looked! think they are the same size as Jamie.'s 255/35/R18s, and possible 225or235/35/R18 on the front
tbh, im not one to race around in traffic, and when i do put my foot down i'll make sure theres some run off area!

Tej, they sound like 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. Do the rears have a fair amount of stretch on them?
I run 235's and 265's on these widths but gonna go down to 225's on the front.
