It sounds like he could be quicker too. Just as he changes from first to second there's a good half a second or full rpm, THEN it takes off...the accelleration from 2nd upwards is awesome.

I seem to remember WRCs dumping raw fuel in as anti-lag, I'm probably totally wrong as it was about 10 years ago and my memory is pretty crap

Yeah anti lag systems basically cut the spark plugs out on throttle lift of which means unburnt fuel in the cylinders is dumped into the super hot manifold..
The fuel ignites in the exhaust manifold keeping the turbo spinning.. not very healthy for the manifold or turbo.. but good fun
