How, exactly, did you test it with a meter?

Also, can I ask, what fuses the amp has?

The edge is only 150W RMS so going up to something like baby DD512b your going to be in for a shock. Wheres Loudvan man or Dave (VD) when you need them?

I could be wrong but isnt putting 800watt through a 150rms sub just going to cook the coils eventually!!!

I give it less than a week before he's on saying either "Why is my sub making a strange noise" or " My sub has stopped working please recommend a sub for!!!"

Very good question... The MIGWEB link above suggests 4 x 250w RMS, but when you search Google, and the only links that come up are back to this thread, I'm very skeptical about the quality of the amp.

I think - and please correct me if I'm wrong - you'd need 80A of fuses onboard the amp to be making that kind of power.

right its got 2x 30amp fuses. and btw the edge 12" is 300w RMS and 900w max (and i used a volt meter and a formula i found on the internet for calculating wattage, it could be wrong but everything seams to be okay) and to be honest most amps are like 2000w max, which means about 400-500w at 4ohms (which is what my sub is running at)

also i know what im doing :P and it defo wont cook the coils, im not putting 2000w into it, not even 1k, infact im probably hitting double the RMS of the sub, and i never put my gains all the way up.

i just wanted some more information about the amp. like what its output at different impendences are and how much they cost retail ect...

to be honest tho its working perfectly just wondered if you guys/gals new anything about it.
