Default what rms for sub?

im currenntly using a JBL 75.2 2 channel amp to run my sub. its 290 rms at 4 ohms rms and my Boston G5 ten inch is 450 RMS IIRC. i had an infinity 1600 a supposedly running 400 and it was sh*t in comparison to the (290) JBL . am i missing out terribly or if im happy should i just live with it?

The JBLs are notoriously efficient... could be the difference that you're hearing...
