Has anyone heard of "Crunch"

They seem cheap for the "power" they put out but whether or not that is the RMS im not sure.

They are from people that produce Lanzar, Hifonics and Soundstream. But also Pyle and Legacy.

Site here: http://www.audiodesign.de/produkte.htm then "crunch"

Thanks for any help :)

I've heard they're in the same league as Pyle... Never a good thing. :)

Ok, seemed a bit like they printed the max power ratings :(

wouldnt put them in that league myself personally. owned a crunch line driver/x-over unit that was pretty cool (regret selling it now :( ) not fantastic but I would defo say a cut above the "pyle" league of kit.

similar sort of build quality to maystar stuff :)

Hmm do you rekon that they put out the stated power?

2x120 watts for £80 seems a bit too good to be correct

Not well regared in its home country. Pyle/Jensen/Legacy/Sony style stuff. Those line drivers - had the VU meters in them? They did one the same but with a 2x60W Amp built in - for in dash fitting in a DIN size box. IIRC there was a 4x30W option too. Sold for $99.99. Should give you an indication of the quality.

Ahhh, think i'll stick with getting a Maystar for my comps then.

Cheers guys

I have not had one in my hand so i cant say anything about there quality, but for the money they dont look bad.
Any warranty on the thing? how long if so, only confident companys give big warrantys ;)

Before you all knock Crunch, try them ;)

I installed one for somebody a short while ago. It was running a single 12" MacAudio sub, and it did the job very, very well!

I would take MacAudio / Magnat / Maystar etc over them anyday, but don't put them down as being **** until you try them, as for the money, they aren't bad at all!

Crunch were quite big over here in the 90s and were very well thought of.
Seemed quite good back then but no idea what the new stuff is like.
