What do you all think of the Stealth-boxes made by auto-acousitcs ? I was thinking of getting one for my VW Polo?
Are they worth the money?
Do they perform well?
Cheers
main advantages: one stop solution, no work involved, unobtrusive, look smart.
main disadvantages: PRICE! they may not be suitable for the sub you have (volume), dont come ported option (afaik)
they are built pretty well. had a customer order one for his MR2 recently. £124.99. fit is perfect as expected. cant comment on what the sub sounded like in there as i didnt hear it.

I've got one, and it does the job very well. It's a bit expensive, but I suppose a bit of work went into designing and building a different one for each type of car.

Just a quick comment, about Auto-acoustics in general. Good company in my experience, nice people, knowledgeable and helpful, and their products which I have dealt with have been very good.
Just to reinforce the notion which bass mekanik introduced, you probably want to look carefully at the suitability the box's sealed volume for your sub before you lay down the cash.

i was going to get one but thought it was to expensive. if you keep your system hidden not showing it off and keep it quiet in your area theres no need for anyone to no you have something. thats all i do now and it has saved me over £100

They have been known to flex with serious power subs in them but you should be fine as long as it's under 600w ish.
Very expensive though!
