right ive noticed this is in specials at the moment so i think im going to buy it next week some time.
does it need wiring directly to the battery even if im not using the internal amp,just the pre outs.
also does it have any form of built in crossover,if so what?
and last of all has anyone had any experience with this and what did u think?

Direct wiring: not needed if you're not using the internal amp. I'd recommend it (and a good earth) anyway but not an essential.

Crossovers: no, I don't think so. It has a parametric bass boost and a selectable treble boost though.

Experience: sorry, don't think I've played with one. The other Alpines in the range are nice enough units to use though. It has 3 4V preouts and sub level control etc so it seems like a good budget buy :)
