mines bust .. after just 12mths ... so much for sony CD's ... i spent 200 quid on one and its died on me already ... so after another but not a Sony!!

Made me chuckle a bit,but then realised this is a single faliure.Has anyone else had faliures from manafacturers just outside warranty?

I think i've been lucky, but I woudln't be happy with a failure just out of warranty like that...

some guy who i know, his cruise control etc all went tits up on his beemer, the day after his warranty expired.

I had a Panasonic fail a couple of days after warranty..

Panasonic were happy to repair it for free, until the ice shop (not CAD) I bought from told them I'd opened the unit (which I hadn't)

Unfortunately it got to the point where I refused to pay, they then said fine we'll have the repair undone.. Idiots..

I got my money back in the end, just in a different way..

What way was that then?
