Also when r the ed comps set for release?

eD have had supply problems with the flat cones. The factory cannot keep up the supply so there is current change to move away from the flat cones on the more popular drivers (A and K series) and keep the flat cones for the O series.

The B drivers are basically a way to use up the current stock of K and A parts (flat cones not being available) it was decided to use a commercially available cone with the current stock of spiders and surrounds from the A and K series. The parabolic cone used means a new multispoke basket is needed and because the Venez basket currently used is not deep enough (its barely deep enough with the flat cone).

So the B series is basically a limited edition solution to using up the remaining stock of A and K parts. Once these have sold out an all new A and K series will be released using a more conventional readily available cone, and all new basket. The new subs will have a better specification than the current ones, higher X-Max and powerhandling etc but require similar sized boxes for sealed and ported use. The B series are similar to the current A (not as good in certain areas).

The UK spec A series may keep the flat nomex cone on the new drivers, that has not been decided yet, there maybe some flat cone A series units coming up at a very good price soon!

I still don't have a release date for the new comps, the latest spec looked like, 14mm Xmax, 125Watts power handling, very low and very loud. As soon as I get any everyone will know about it :D

Do u have any idea when the new versions of the a series will be out, and will the pricing be the same.

I was told that the new subs will have an aluminium cone (or something like that), is that true??

The AE (Anniversary Edition) will have Aluminum cones just like the B Series. They are the same driver with same performance as the current A series drivers. The new series though which is "known" as Av2 and Kv2 etc will probably be out in another 6months time or so which will be the NEW versions of the drivers with better performance than the current line. This is what I know from reading on SIN :).
