Well ive noticed on the ID website that there no such comps out there yet....does anybody (matt would be the best to answer) know if ID have a set in the pipeline.

If not wat would would be the best combination, i thought of havin this:

NX30 tweeters
CX midbass drivers 6.5
ID8V.2 D2

would this combination work?

At the moment ive had to sell my id comps, due to money problems, but i graduate soon from uni, so a job will be on the way, so i was considering (well dreamin) about wat my next set up could be. And well im thinkin of a ID 3 way system, as i love how my id's look, and i have heard them and i dont think i will be wanting to get another brand for the speakers.....but things might change i still have 4 months till my job (fingures crossed).

I doubt ID will bother with 3-ways personally, they do such wonderful horns they needn't bother messing about with midranges ;)

I really can't see why you'd need to supplement the bass response of a CX62 but if you must do so I'd suggest running two of them per side anyway. They play very low easily so it'd be a shame to waste that by crossing them over at 100Hz or whatever.

If you're having midbass troubles, I don't doubt that you could sort them out with more work on the install, CX62s are exceptional midbass drivers IMO... :)

generally people run with the NX30 tweets, and then a CX 52/4 and a CX 62/4 :)
