Hello,

I know some of you lot on here do this, but I'm looking for a cheap-ish host to hold a basic website.

I need about 10Mb or so, so nothing too big, and it needs to be on a decent link (so no home ADSL please!). I'm not fussed about ASP, PHP, Java and all that malarkey, just some straightforward html and jpg hosting.

Any ideas about cost, and more to the point, can any of you provide it?

Cheers

If you only want 10mb, doesn't your own ISP provide you with some basic webspace?

If you don't mind banners there are many free hosts about.

If you want a lot more without paying very much try Hosting Unlimited: http://www.hosting-unlimited.net/
The basic package has loads of space and bandwidth and even comes with emails address's and all the scripts you'd ever want and a very easy control panel.
I'm with them and they are superb in my opinion.

My ISP does give me webspace, but I mostly use that for my own cráppy website, and hosting pr0n.

I'm considering another website, so I think it would be a better idea to keep the two seperate!

I have 3 domains under my control atm. www.fatwheels.net is probably the best address, the others are a bit company specific. I can set you up with a folder on there if you want for nothing, obviousley id trust you to stick to ur own folder and leave the rest of the website alone. Let me know if you want :)

I paid £6.09 for 2 years of www.connectedexistence.co.uk and £30 for 100mb space, 1.5Gb p/month bandwidth with www.123-reg.co.uk :)
