I see in this months ME (mobile entertainment) magazine from the USA/canada that alpine have a full page advert for the new F#1 It says "the most advanced DVD audio system ever has arrived" on page 37
so is it out soon?

Couple of questions on it
Does the DVI-9990 headunit have a seperate DC-DC converter like the older version in a seperate box?.
As i cannot work out from the pics from CES if it does or its for the screen.

Any ruff ideas of price's?

The pic am posted shows a DC-DC converter box, so I can only assume the 9990 comes with that. It definitely isnt a hideaway box for the screen.

Prices - No Idea Yet. The latest info I had from our sales meeting last week was that it will be available around October.

And im guessing once thats gone no more?
Or can you special order them or has production stopped?

Is there plenty of supply of the CDA-7990R or is that in short supply too?

Is there any dealers with them in stock you know of?

Hopefully they will bring another hundred or so PXA-H900 in and once the new range comes out Atsu will offer us them at a super price :)

Now that's VERY horny new gear coming our way!

I already have the CDA-7990R - A REAL star perfomer.

Now I'll have to start saving for this gear to instal in my new car. I'm guessing here, but the head unit, processor and screen, minus the amps, around 10,000 GBP?

Both the CDA-7990R and the PXA-H900 are almost unavailable. We have no 7990R's in stock, and if anyone wants a unit then we would need to contact other offices in Europe to see if they have any spare. I have two dealers that have them in a stand. If you are serious about them then I will let PM you their details.
