How much power will 2 of these hold before bursting into flames? My system is for streetbass, im open to other ideas of course, and they will be in a Wicked One box. I will need an amp to power them, but i want to give them over a kilowatt, as a garantee that i can get louder. For daily driving i need a way to turn the wattage given down, is that the GAIN setting?

Bye bye warranty at over 1kw....they are rated at 600w and 1kw tops, not even sure if you would be ok warranty wise with that much being put through them: you would need to ask Mr Singh
What on earth is a Wicked One box?

Tej is running his off a fusion monoblock at the moment... He's going easy on the gains, but giving it around 1Kw at the moment... The smell of voice coils is definitely apparent, and any tweaks for a little more power result in the sub bouncing off the backplate...

Why do you require so much power? in any good install 600wrms will do the driver perfectly well.
If your after more SPL i suggest you look at the SX line.
