Which one should i choose?

Will be powering CDT Audio Comps and JL Audio 10" sub.

Budget SQ is what i'm looking for, and listen mainly to rock, indie and old school hip hip and funk.

Cheers guys, all opinions and comments welcome. :)

Well the CA40 can only do 170w bridged for the sub so it may be to little, dont know how much the profile 4 would give.

Thou with the CA40 you can run the speakers active in the future and get a proper amp for the sub

Edit, saw that your sub is dual 4, dont know if the dls can run 2ohm bridged

Yeah, thinking about changing the sub to a 4ohm compatible one. Do you know if the Genesis can run 2ohm mono?

Just to confuse matters have you looked at the Audison SRx3? Its a three channel that does

2x75 + 1x250w @4 ohms
2x65 + 1x340w @4/2 ohms
2x110 + 1x220w @2/4 ohms
2x95 + 1x315@2 ohms

Its a cracking amp for £260

The Profile Four isn't rated to do 2ohm bridged... but from conversations I've seen recently about Genesis stuff that doesn't completely rule it out that it won't. This might only apply to the Series 3 stuff so might be worth speaking to Gordon to find out.

The Profile Four will also run an active setup.
