if DD say i need a 2.5 cube foot ported box does that include the port? or do i add the port extra?

also i take it i have to allow for the driver displacement and braces? so is it right i will need 2.5 cubes available once the sub and braces are in??

2.5 cube box is 2.5 cubes plus port space, driver displacement and bracing.

A 2.5 box could easily measure over 3.5 cubes total when all added up.
