Hi Guys,

I need an app to get all my MP3 to the same volume really... I've tried MP3 gain in the past but it seems to miss some

Cheers,
Rich

mp3 gain is the only program i know of that does it without re-encoding and therefore no sound quality loss. It doesn't miss any of mine. It set it to 94dba

mp3gain works for me. The ones it misses are not really mp3 files, they just have '.mp3' extensions.

mp3tag is a handy program for lots of reasons including checking the actual codecs in your files. Just re-rip/download any that aren't mp3. :D

If your playback software can support VST effects then grab the free Buzz Maxi VST (Brickwall Limiter), that will make everything as loud as possible, but won't be very subtle about it!

Are you not going to lose / overblow dynamics doing that? :whatever:

Very likely. However, whether this is important to you or not is very dependant on what your goals are.

Did it at 89 in the end, as more than that lead to a fair few of the tracks clipping :)
