Yeah deffinatly comming to t-16, If the isntall is all done i'll come and have a go, I'll be arriving with a PBX3000d @ 8ohm powering an alpine type-r 12" sealed... so i dont think that will do much damage (although maybe to the sub if run @2ohm :wow: ) if i have a go.

When you get metered do they do a sweep to test your peek frequency before you do a run, or are you supposed to know prior. Reason i ask is when i was tested at the london meet i wasnt tested any higher than 40hz and now my tuning has been raised i dont know what my peek will be.

i think mate its run different to propper droppers and street bassers stuff..
what have you tuned to now as iirc you were at 30hz??
i assume you kinda have to know where your peak is and where your loudest hz will be.....from what ive seen over the years people burp 60/70hz regions but things have probably changed by now...

im sure a seasoned spl/db drag guy/s will help you..

I'm sure disconnecting the batts will be fine (Darren will be able to confirm though)

I'd be carefull of running a XD3000 at 8 ohms, not a good load for some class D amps, XD3000's are not exactly the most forgiving of amps.....

thats easy we finnish our install changes while were at events putting a sub and hooking it up to the amp will be a doddle :D

What not run the Alpine at 2 ohms and just drop the gain on the PBX to keep the driver safe.

You should be in Street C with the XXX 18 as long as the rest of the rules are not compromised.

yeah, iirc it was 142.8 or something with 30hz tuning and 1200w (very clipped & low voltage) on it.. I never metered it with the full 3kw and healthy voltage but it was definately an easy 144-145+ :)

I went up at GTi international compared to Santa Pod.. and I'm hoping for a little increase at T16... bit touch and go on getting the changes done at the moment though...
