Any dB Drag guys going up?

Myself and the wife are going up on a bit of a road trip - staying in Loudoun on Saturday and Sunday night driving back on Monday.

We are spending Friday night in Sheffield so if anyone wants to convoy from around that area on Saturday then let me know and we can arrange something.

This thread is about the db drag competition, the Iasca thread i see you have already posted in.

If you want to try db Drag there is no amateur class, you just turn up and have fun - all the judges are ace at talking people through popping their db drag cherry - i will give you a hand if needed as well mate

Entry for the show and Bass Race is £20 and passenger tickets are £10.

Also we trophies will only be for Bass Race, we will also run a dB Drag competition but only for fun, and for people to know whats its all about.

now ive got 2 and more power and learnt more lol so i'd love to get it tested with some choons

The event will be run like normal, its just that the trophies are sponsored by Loudoun Castle and are for Bass Race. You will get all your normal points for dB Drag and Bass Race.

I want to get 149.9 and try for world champion that's my aim. It will do that now (just) so I think im gonna leave it.

I will be doing a better job on the roof and possibly radding the box but nothing more

daddio sorted jooses wiring problems out one of the earths not acctually screwed in to the amp terminal properly, still getting 152 dead

and i finally got my 148 well 148.4

few nice cars in the show stands bit, nicely planned out day for all involved, i'm gonna be wide awake all night now as i slept all the way down

it makes me smile and also the fact that one off the punters who was at my van said his fiesta in car park
was louder it had 2 x12 terminator subs and a terminator amp still running on cars own battery and asked what his amp fuse size was the reply 2x20amps :D

Slysy - Haha top work - the trick is getting the other half into bassing and your away - get a pair of DD 9515's and a pair of big amps in a 10cuft yank box tuned to 40hz in the back of that focus and you (and the missus ) will be happy - dont forget the alt mod i told you about

James L - not sure if your on TA but get those JBLs ported and you can break 140db!

Wilfy - keep working on that box mate - 150 is getting nearer! will reply to you PM asap - did the sub die?

Stuart - great score for a 2 hour install mate - and remember - its 129.9!! get the golf done ASAP!!!!

The Clio got a hefty amount of booming, really drew the crowds over - didnt clear them off with Dolly Parton though.
A big thanks to John and Tristan who helped me find out why one of my subs was wangging alot more than the other (due to mis-matched gains and also the earth on one amp being almost out) I will be fixing that properly this week. after fixing it did 152 dead and bassraced it to 149.8 getting so so close! - batteries where getting proper hammered so possibly more in it as well

Cheers to Darren and John for a fun show - small turn out but still a nice weekend with some ace people - bring on the VAG lot! (if they will have us!)

Just for the record i was running 2 re sx 10`s , with a solid f47 amp ...... im not sure on the specs but i will have a look in a min.

i was happy anyway with a 138.9

I think i need a bigger amp!
