From the Bruntingthorpe website

Noise restrictions

The drive by noise measured 20m from the centre line of the vehicle passing at at least 60 mph and accelerating maximally must not exceed 87 dB(A). This represents very lenient level of noise, however excessively noisy vehicles will not be permitted.

Cant find a maximum level for a car standing still at 2k rpm though hehe im guessing its less than 150db!

Seriously though I know they are strict about it at Bunters - is that going to be a problem?

Also can we meter the Vulcan on take off? Lozzy measured 137db on his epic160 in the clio when the jet dragster did the strip at Santa Pod last year

Not having been to any of these events before I was wondering what is the best way to get a ticket. Do we just turn up at the gate on the day or should we buy tickets in advance, if so where. I want to go to the Loudon Castle Event in June.

Cheers

darren usually posts before an event advising how to get the tickets, most of the time they are sent out to you and you pay darren on the day

why are the finals at modded uk & not at donny???

thejoose
22-05-2008, 02:42 PM
Donny was only recently announced so that might have something to do with it.

Donny has such a lot of Sound off history it would be cool for it to be there. but World Finals are only 2 weeks later

RickyT

I also agree the finals would be much better at donny.

Just to let you all know the Modded UK has been cancelled this year. The event will be back in September 2009 which is good.

So the UK Finals have been moved to the Donny Show the week after.

the obvious choice would be snetterton but i know this clashes with the euro comps.
