View Full Version : Monster Frequency limit?

It was suggested that there is no frequency limit to Monster in the UK.
I only see negatives:

1. Termlab has to be "fiddled" to get the brackets to work, and get the winners, results may not be displayed on TP.

2. A re-build will be neccessary to compete at the Euros due to the above and proably too much grief to argue it in a different language.

3. I know how much louder mine will be at 115Hz, thus its actually no gain for anyone if we all do it.... Its a false gain, only achieved by the first person.

Because of the above, I suggest its left upto the Termlab computer for normal dbdrag limit of 80Hz.

Anyway, Poll to follow.

PS, Georgies little Monster does 175.2db, 1 x 12 inch sub, 1 x Vibe amp, 1 battery and at 72Hz.

I know I havnt competed in the class but to me its db drag for fun little projects and as such should stay with the db drag limit of 80hz

Yeah I think 80hz makes sense as to everyone its the same level playing field, cars and monster.

It looks fun too!

Its technically a dB Drag class, its 80hz.

No questions.

It's db drag so whatever is good enough for the other classes should be good enough for this one too?

Not quite.

There are lose guidelines that the guys stick to.

Battery restrictions, sub size/quantity, amp amounts etc.
