Morning,
If I were to compete in one or more comps this year in SQC, does that rule me out of Rookie? I know that if you've competed in Rookie you can't the following year, but not sure how SQC really works.
Oh and before you say, I tried going on IASCA's website and asking there but it's blocked at work, apparently it's "Forbidden Category "Violence/Hate/Racism" " :whatever:

I'm 99% sure that competing in SQC does rule you out of competing in Rookie.
IIRC, you can do one comp in SQC, and then do a full season in Rookie next year.:)

Cheers guys, now I'm at home I can ask on the IASCA forum for confirmation.
Only one comp nige? Hmm, guess I had better re-think my plans...

SQC is ideal for lazy gits like me who cba to finish an install, but wish to get fully-sound judged.
if you WANT to improve the installation of your system, and WANT to put alot of effort in on the presentation / photos / cleaning / system integrity - then go for Rookie.
You WILL learn more overall in Rookie.
edit: where you based in surrey.
I'm gatwick if you need any help / advice for the rookie season
I got 2nd place @ the Rookie Euros a few years ago :raz:

Anyways, thanks for the offer. I may have to borrow your ears one day :D
Oh, and I think I'll go for SQC. Pictures, presentation, cleaning etc just isn't me!
