Hey guys,

Im hoping to launch a Website to help promote my Business.

Im currently a Personal Trainer, and want to raise awareness of who I am, and my services... but if possible, Id like to have the majority of the creative input, regarding the design, layout etc, and also be able to update frequently.

So Im wondering what you guys think of a few options, and possibly some better suggestions.

These 2 standout so far :

http://www.123-reg.co.uk/instantsite/

I like this as it seems I have good control, its pretty cheap, ( even for the Pro package ) and I get the domain included too :)

Other option Ive seen is :

http://www.webstudio.com/

This also seems like a pretty complete package.

Im a very new to this, so excuse me if im being naive about something...

Any advice, opinions, suggestions would be really appreciated !

Cheers

:cheese:

The problem I find with these "site in a box" things is most of the time they end up looking like "site in a box" jobbies! But if you've not worked on a website in the past, or don't have the capital to pay for a site, they should work ok for you.

After all, a personal trainer isn't really going to require a "Dogs bolloks" website with all the bells and whistles, when you say you want to update it regulary, with what?

New regimes, costs etc that kind of thing?

Well, the site is to advertise prices & packages etc.

But Id also like to make it very useful website for people who want to learn to, not just for my clients, friends etc, so hopefully over time my website will become known for well written , informative articles by myself and other Professionals.

I will eventually be selling products online too, as I would like to become a official distributor for products I believe in.

I also have a few ideas, regarding publicising the achivement of my clients, organising events (some for charity too ) and I would also like to appeal to people located throughou the UK, and not just local to me in Cardiff. ( This is work in progress, but I have some good ideas and solutions, that just need tweaking. )

But as you said, I dont need an OTT website, just something, simple, concise, but well presented.

Nothing you've said so far would be difficult, as its mainly just posting or editing articles, all you'd need is the right templates to have them appear in the right way.
