What's the best way to go about it? Can I just put the HDD in a USB caddy and plug it in then copy the data off it? I suppose it depends on how badly it's corrupted I guess.
Is there any software available that helps recovery?
Thanks,

Easy Recovery Pro - I only used it when I lost some work but don't know if it's useful for recovering from corrupt drives.
Active@ partition recovery enterprise.
I had a HDD that was screwed completley and nothing we tried would do the job of recovering all I lost apart from Active@.
It really is the best I have found out there.
