Bare with me, ive got a hell of a lot of pics of the journey there and back and the show so its gonna take me a while to get them all up.
Unfortunately my battery went flat in my camera just before the presentations, but hopefully someone else will be able to post them up, or i might be able to get them and post them later.

We got the ferry from dover to dunkirk, then drove through belgium, luxembourg and back into france and stayed the first night in mulhouse just before the swiss boarder. Second day we crossed into switzerland, through the alps and into italy.

Saturday night entertainment was laid on in the form of a free beer, a cold sausage and a lump of pork fat. We showed the rest of europe how it should be done.

This was one of my favorite cars purely because of the owners. They were a dutch couple who spent the whole weekend walking around in wooden glogs. They were easily the friendliest people there andloved to tell anybody who was looking about the car. The install a was all clear plastic and mirrors done on their kitchen table as they had no workshop or garage.
They explained the proces for forming and bending the plastic they used and its not something i would have the balls to attempt even with the proper equipment, yet they had it perfect so much respect to them!

Good work. Some of those cars look horrendous, although yours and Johns do look stunning, Orca, the final look of your boot looks amazing.

When I eventually have some time, and the 914 is finished I'll make the trip over.

Love the merc Orca. My boss had one of those. They're about the most handsome model. Install looks great too - very Hobson esq.
