They're a bit carp, arent they?

Ordered some new RAM, instead of sending me 2 sticks of 1GB they sent me 1 stick of 512mb. :(

Then they made all this kerfuffle about returning it.

Then the 1GB sticks were out of stock (within a day someone must have bought 160 sticks, according to their site...)

Then I had to call them to get them to pick it up, send new one's and get a refund on my £11 I paid for next day delivery. I eventually got £4.70 refunded for the difference in postage.
And the phone call ended up costing £7 because I was on hold for 20 minutes. Great.

And then i wanted to upgrade, so i could have the RAM straight away, and was willing to pay the extra £20. They said they couldnt do that, and blankly refused to let me upgrade for some reason they wouldnt tell me.

In the end I was going to cancel the order, but it was a great price. Just wont be using them ever again, and would never reccomend them to anyone.

So, if you can put up with pi55 poor service for low prices, use them. But be warned!

Bought something in Jan, it popped monday, returned it tuesday, refunded wednesday, replacement ordered thurs, delivered today.

Built a PC for a friend, a couple of small bits were missing, sent next day.

I did get messed about with next day delivery once though, turned up 3 days late, they ended up refunding me the cost of my entire order, £40 or there abouts.

Ive used alot worse places.

Not once had a problem with them myself.

No problems here either. Their customer support isn't great tbh, but that's where the savings come from :)

With any internet shop, you will need to return the item for a refund and just order a replacement yourself.

Otherwise it can take a week or so

I once ordered a Shuttle bare bone from them, they sent me 4 in one box and they never chased so I was happy. I ended up giving one to the old man, one to a mate for his birthday, one for me and one for the bloke I was building the original shuttle for.
I have been messed around by ebuyer a few times, but overall they offer speedy delivery of good priced items, and often they are cheaper than anywhere else.

Bunch of spastics. Bought A CPU from them. It never came, had to send them a court claim before they listened. Got a refund. CPU come 4 months later

Seems so weird how people either get awful service, or ridiculously bargains in the form of wrong orders

I've just bought stuff, the correct thing has arrived (reasonably in time) and it's always worked :)

I'll continue to use them until they spanner something up, then I'll move to Dabs, or some other cheap parts supplier!

I can't say I've ever had any major problems with them.

I think it's just the people who're picking the orders, or something?

They messed up next day delivery twice for me, but both times refunded the postage cost. Apart from that, not too bad.

Now according the eBuyer site the RAM's back in stock? Aftre they said it would be out of stock for a week...

Let's see if 42gb of RAM is purchased before I get another reply to my e-mail.

They've always been good to me... Had a couple of duff OCZ memory sticks, but I guess thats not their fault, and they've replaced em with no hassle

Ordered a SATA drive last Thursday turned up this thursday at 6.45PM (super saver postage) was delivered in the biggest box i've ever seen.

So ok, not super quick but google checkout swung it.

Must have order 20/30 orders from them and not had a single failed delivery yet, most using their 5 day delivery and normally still comes after 3/4 days.

Google Checkout + Ebuyer = Robs new server lol

Well, they sent out new RAM.

But sent out wrong items, again! Can't believe it! :(

So, I emailed them (I'm refusing to spend money on a phone-call to them again) saying I want a refund to take my business elsewhere and they emailed back saying basically "Sorry, we mis-picked it, we'll send out replacment" Can they not read over at eBuyer? they havent responded to my 2nd email yet either.

not all items are sent out of ebuyer.

There are multiple warehouses and some come from other companies/manufacturers.

This is why if you order a lot of bits it can come in 3 or 4 deliveries.

Nothing wrong with picking the wrong item, £15 computer case arrived as a £500 laptop

oops ;)

Nothing wrong with items being picked incorrectly at all, if you end up with a £500 laptop... but there is if for the second time running they've fooked up delivery of RAM. Tossers.

Always good for me, and I've spent well over £3k I think. Once I had a HDD die after a few months. Howevre it was in a RAID0 array and the model had just been replaced. I explained this and they let me return both and gave me a full refund. :) I then bought two of the new moel which were about £10 cheaper each and never had a problem with them.

Well, after yet another phone-call, and a conversation with the dumbest operator ever encountered (she wouldnt accept that she had made an error on my ebuyer account trying to sort me a log-in... until I told her how to spell 'Matthew'... she didnt know it 'Had an Aitch init?!' Dumb fook), they're picking it up again tomorrow.

Worst experience EVER with an online retailer. Everything they've done and the way they've acted, on the phone and on-line in replies to my messages (when I, indeed, got responses) just tells me that they couldnt care less if I shopped with them anyway. Well, they've got their wish.

They've been OK for me, although a Sandisk flash drive I bought from them turned out to be counterfeit, but I got a refund no trouble! :)
