Right,
I've just got a new 4gb SD card, and it works fine in my PDA.
However when I put it in my USB memory reader windows claims that it is unformatted, and then when I press format it only "sees" it as a 1gb card.
Can anyone shed any light on to it?

Get the latest drivers for the reader. You may need to find out the reader chip's part no. to get them (I did for my laptop one to enable 2gb+ cards)

Amazon, it was only a cheap one though.
It has a nd3266 chipset but can't seem to find a understandable website to get new drivers from.

'Cheap' card readers often have probs reading newer higher capacity cards. Their 'USB2' speed ratings are questionable too  :shake:
