what file format should i save a picture/graphic in if i want to enlarge it without losing its quality?

im using illustrator.

if it's for issue to a client or something a PDF retains the vector information as well, but more securely :)

making my own website, making a logo for the company and i want to retain its quality. when i use jped or bmp it shows pixels!.

ive tried EPS but evrytyme i paste into the website design page it comes out in a green color instead of red and black like its suppose to be.

help?

im using WebdEasy6 professional by Vcom

tiff isnt vector, its just not compressed, and supports layers.

you cant use an eps in a website, you need a jpg/gif/png
iirc, browsers dont support vector graphics.

You want to save as eps, get it the right size in illustrator, then save the final image you are going to use on the website as a tiff. The eps is used just for illustrator use and basically allows you to save all of your path information so you can save it and come back to it but still be able to blow it up as large as you like whilst still keeping it clean as a whistle. However, you can't use an eps as an actual image for the site, you need to save it as a tiff really, or once it's already blown up to size, a high quality jpeg should distort it the source file is clean.
