ok so just had my spectrum and damp pro door kit delivered...

to the local co-op as it was the nearest business address PMSL

anywho, so im gonna do the boot floor, doors (inner, outer, door cards) and possibly under the dash, with the spectrum. After cleaning all the surfaces thoroughly first.

Then add the damp pro on top? is this the right way round to do it?

the door kit only has 12sqft. Apparently this is only enough to do the outer skin in 1 layer (car is a 306). So would it be best to cover all the outer skin, and then any left over on the inner skin around the speaker.

Or better to do half the outer skin, and half the inner skin - focused around the speaker.

Any tips for applying the spectrum and damp pro ?

cheers :smokin:

How much spectrum you got? 1 tub?

As for how to apply it, put the mat on first and then go over it with spectrum. I'd do the outer skin first then any left over put around the speaker or on the inner skin if you've got enough. I'd then give the inner skin a coat of spectrum.

Heres a link to how to go waaaaaaaay OTT with deadening :clown:

Gives you an insight of which way round to use the products :)

thanks jonas - funnily enough, i did precisely what you said, without reading it! haha

the doors sound like oak now when you tap them :)

fairly well sealed too, so i hope the results will be good!

i just put it onto the metal in the boot and the doors, after a wipe. Sticks perfectly.
