right,,, to save people experimenting i done a bit of experimenting...
anyone with tips and ideas, put them here :)
my first one::
when applying spectrum on matting,,, get a roller,,, apply a thin layer across the shiny surface,, this wil dry quickly as its very very thing,,, then get a brush and brush on...
why?? because the first layer will act like a primer,, allows thicker layers to build without it "sliping" off the shiny surace and being moved around
another idea::
apply a layer or two of spectrum, and then the matting... i think this will give the matting more stick, as the spectrum,, even if the surface is not compleatly wipe down clean, will still apply very well,, and therefore your are left with a very nice spectrum clean surface to apply the matting, i will be trying this soon :)
also::
sandability.. the spectrum is very easy to sand down, and give a smooth finish,, again why possibly the matting on top might be quite a good idea...
