I too have to fight the urge to go to Spasda and maim some children when I see that advert.

The new adverts where that bloke is mincing around with the laminated bit of A4 paper while a succession of increasingly irritating people lounge around on them doing annoying things like eating sushi and playing with their rabid labrador. But THE most annoying thing? The singers are crap, and THE WORDS DONT EVEN BLOODY RHYME. "These are double discount/to save you twice the amount". That clearly doesn't work. And it looks like the whole advert was made for about twenty quid one Sunday afternoon when business was a bit slow.

That Frosties advert makes me want to kill someone "They're gonna taste great, with your mate, on a plate" etc then he starts this little 'freestyling' dance with this stupid grin on this face. Agh!!!!!

wow, i thought i was the only one! they've clearly just done it to shorten the advert so it's cheaper, but it just doesn't work and really irritates the hell out of me too!

also, the bt/aol/insert you isp here, which claim they can now offer wireless for the same price, or that with their security you're safer than the next isp... it's nothing to do with the isp is it, it's the equipment you have and the softeware you use etc!

pretty much everywhere on the net tries to target your ads, eg gmail etc. if only the tv could detect who was watching and then change the ads to be relevant to you... so if it's us sitting in the living room watching something, the ads will have scantily clad women telling us to drink beer, or if it's the mrs watching it'll show hair dye commercials etc.

having said that, sky+ saves my sanity.

yeah, good point, paramount are the worst for that. watching south park in bed having a pre sleep chuckle, ads come on and you're blasted into next week.

i guess it's so when you leave the room to make a cuppa/take a leak etc you can still hear the ads. annoying as hell though.

motors TV are the worst offenders for being loud.

watch any other channel at a nice volume, put motors TV on and the people at the other end of the road can hear it
