I would have thought 1 would be enough depends on how much cash you have.

You can never have to much sound deadening ;)

As many as you can afford/can fit IMO.

However, I believe at least one SPL organisation (dB Drag?) limit you to two layers/4mm total or something? Worth checking if you have any intention of competing because breaking this rule bumps you into Extreme (and puts you against some crazy vehicles) :)
