Random question, but is everyone cleaning their car for T14?

Most people seem to - not least soas you don't get dirty when you lean on the car, I will be because I'm in the Emma comp.

I might just bung it through the car wash, I've given up trying to clean it properly, pretty soon there'll be more rust than car :(

I'll be doing the interior soon as I get home. The exterior once it's cooled off a bit.

Might need that bug removal pad thingy if that's ok.

You need the detailers spray to go with the claybar...

i usually do.. might give it a quick wipe in the morning or take it to a car wash tonight..

it usually gets a sh1tload of bugs splattered all over it on the way anyway :lol:

mines not worth cleaning! its crash damaged front end! looks rubbish whether clean or not!

Going to give it a quick clean, sod polishing etc. Last year I collected bugs and the field was dusty. The car was dirty again within 30 minutes. Not going to that extreme again.

My 10 minute 5 step car washing technique. ;)

Step 1. Sling bucket of water over car.

Step 2. Cap full of Mer in bucket of water, sling over car and rub it in a bit.

Step 3. See step 1.

step 4. Drive around the block to dry off.

Step 5. Stand back and admire.

Yup, ill becleaning after work when it gets cooler....also a quick hoover inside :)...it best be appreciated :p

I'll be stuffed if I'm going to pay for that stuff :) I've been using a 1/10th mix of fabric conditioner and water and it works a treat. You can use anything really, including really soapy water. Cleaned mine last sunday and waxed it.

Only rained once so it rinsed off fine today.

mines got scratches all down the passenger side where a bus scraped past and scratches on the rear bumper where i reversed into a wall :lol:

the scratches stand out more when clean but then i will have to drive about 2 - 300 miles there so im guessing my car wont be clean when i get there anyway ;)

put through an auto car wash today

Just went through a car wash, it left soap everywhere so I just tipped some water over it.

No sound in it though :o

Spent a couple of hours doing mine earlier, didn't use the shampoo this time though, a bit of Megs Quick Detailer followed by Megs Deep Crystal Polish, followed by Megs Tech Wax

Hoovered it out earlier, gonna put it through either the car wash or jet wash tomorrow while getting petrol before meeting up.

Seeing as we're only just eating dinner, then off to the pub for a quick pint, then tuning the system, something tells me we won't get chance to wash the car. Call it a hunch if you like ;)

I didn't get the car back from the garage until turned 6pm, and then I had my mate fit a new exhaust, so I really haven't had time even though it does need a bloody good wash!

ALL DONE! and now its tucked up for the night....see you in the morning guys! :)
