View Full Version : My first experience of a real life emo (and a rant in general.......sorry)

So I started my new job on monday and as a result have to get a different train. There is this emo that I have had the misfortune to be on the same carriage with twice. He comes with two of his girly mates and both times he has been sitting on the floor crying with the girls hugging him (perhaps thats his game) and I was shocked at how the guy went from crying loudly to laughing by the end of the journey. What a bunch of weirdos :shake: .

From now on I am carrying scissors with me and I am going to give that fool a haircut next time I see him. I mean who has a hair cut that deliberately covers one of your eyes? :shake: And those bloody trousers are not decent. Anyone with male privates must be killing themselves by wearing that. Kids have gone bloody looney. What he needs is a haircut and a proper job :shake:

I had nothing against emo's before this monday. But now they are on my hate list along with Channel 4, Clarks, Burtons, blokes that wear rockports with tracksuit bottoms etc etc.

So this morning I read that a 13 year old boy wore a skirt to school as they are not allowed shorts and it was too hot for trousers. If I would have done that at my school I can't even imagine what would have happened to me. The world has gone crazy.............I remember the mid 90's as a much better time

I certainly hope so. People pretending to be depressed has to be an all time low for British youth culture :shake:

Infinite baffle subs? He was probably crying as he couldn't set them up or something

As mentioned he will soon be dead. Did you remind him it's down the highway not across the road?

thought it was short for emotional BLANK (fill in blank)

Benny
21-07-2006, 06:47 AM
Emotional Hardcore - the sort of music they self-harm to.

Basically think of some pretty mild "modern rock" with a bloke screaming about his pain instead of meaningful lyrics.

Nope, if they're really emo, they will be able to hide all evidence. You're not a true emo bitch until you're one hundred percent androgynous.

Fooking Emo's EVERYWHERE in Perth. I just wanna slap them and say "Cheer up you miserable *****!!" What the fook do they have to be miserable about anyway? They live in Oz where the sun shines every day and the women are hot as coals. How can you be miserable when you look around and see gorgeous women EVERYWHERE?

i hate these type of kids, they are idiots and i know what you mean about them crying, the conclusion ive come to about them is that its all attention seeking! thats all it is in my eyes, just attention seeking. idiots, as lex said, bring back the 90s or even better the 80s!

when i was their age.......

well you get the point! we all know what it was like back when we were young, you were well behaved, you were actually scared of the police and respected your parents like god for fear of punishment or having your pocket money stopped or not being allowed to watch tv or not allowed sweets! christ how things have changed so much for the worse.

young uns just get it to easy these days! lol!

I especially hate the fact that it's usually kids that come from decent homes, who have the fooking LEAST to worry about! It's easy to moan about how tough your life is when it isn't very tough at all. The average emo's jeans cost more than my work suit. Fcuk 'em. :whatever:

Exactly!!! The fact that the dude is crying on a train (3 times now last week) says it all. I mean most normal people have a threshold for this kind of thing.............of the people I know, most would not cry and if there was something to make them cry (and it would have to be very serious stuff) they wouldn't be on the train to Wimbeldon.

In my day (mid 90's) the youth culture seemed to be around much of nothing tbh. Unfortunately those days were the days that will be associated with the rise of expensive trainers and clothes with big designer logo's on them but thats about it and I think thats fairly decent compared to these days. But that was always going to happen at some point as a backlash to the glamrock culture. Nowadays half the kids are hell bent on protesting (no one told them that it doesn't matter) and the rest on dressing in tight clothes and crying.

he did, its called giving into the media :)

em0 kiddies annoy the **** out of me, i listen to 'emo' music, but do you see me with dogey hair covering my eyes, an obesession for tight clothes and black painted nails? music is about the musical tallent, and the lyrics. not some image that is connected to it :)

i too listen to emo music, but have short hair and a gut and wear overly baggy clothes. its annoying that the music is lumped into the same category as the idiot suicide kids. most of them only listen to the most mainstream stuff around which is barely even classifiable as emo, its more like pop music. its just a phase, once a few of the more hardcore ones kill themselves the wannabes will chicken out and move onto something else.
