OK, this is your last chance.. We can take only three more Rookie cars, and one more Amateur or Pro car for this weekend.. and then all entries are closed. If you are thinking of competing, then you had better get your entries in NOW!!! First come basis.. :)

:( nothing in the car at the moment, and only 1 day off this week, I'm not confident enough I'll have the car working for saturday to compete :(

The classes are very nearly full then. Cool!

What sort of numbers are we looking at per class Panch?

Bill, take a days holiday and get it done!

What do you mean Chris? If you mean the list of entrants, then I think there's another thread with this on where everyone is just adding their name.

I can't, we have clients in the studio all week so I can't take holiday :( I'll try and get it done during the evenings but I'm not confident I'll get it all done (well not confident enough to commit to entering).

I'd have a bash too, but it's a very close call as to whether it'll be in, let alone setup :( Can we push T14 back a week or two? (before anyone says anything, I've already taken this thursday and friday off, and am factoring that in to the equation).

When's the next one (can't be bothered to search :D )?

I haven't got my car this week, it's having some work done. Therefore I can't realy do a lot on mine until I get it back on friday.

If you need a hand during the week give me a shout. Empty garage and lots of power tools to play with! :D

John, we can only do about 22 cars max on a one-day event I'm afraid, especially where there is about a 50/50 split between Rookies and Amat/Pro cars. Any more than this, and we simply couldn't judge them fairly... :)

Panch, has Antony entered it?

I might have a crack at it, what do you require from me?

Hi Am, yes, got Antony's entry. You'd be in Pro or Expert. If you want to enter, then just fill in the registration form on the UK EMMA website.. http://uk.emmanet.com, and then pay by Paypal of course.. ;)

In terms of what is required.. photo book, schematics of the system.. the same sort of thing as you would do for IASCA to be honest. You might want to talk to Kenny and get yourself a rulebook and CD before the event. If you want to have a chat about it, just give me a call.. :)

I'd have to prepare photo book/schematics etc...

If delivery time on the rule book is an issue Am, I've got one that's barely been opened that you can either borrow, or take and replace. Same with the CD..

I could probably have a look at Ants when he's down..

Have the CD..

I know theres a ton of work that could given a once or twice over... just short on time.

Do I need a schematic of my system?

I have a photobook and a wiring sample board which I use in IASCA but no schematic.

Does EMMA REQUIRE a schematic of the system or is just a good idea to have one?

Will I be allowed to compete without one? I doubt very much I'll be able to get one done before the weekend :(

it is not an essential requirement & what you have should be o.k. mate..:D but a basic system diagram would come in handy whatever competition format you compete in as it makes it easier for you when explaining your system to judges...;)

hello mate.

What i means is that you are allotted 7 Min's to give the judges a basic outline of way in which your system has been installed & point out anything that you think makes your system different/unique to everyone Else's in order to try & pick up bonus points.

hope this helps..;)

A couple of stupid questions:

What time do we need to get to T14 if we are competing with EMMA?

Do we need to bring anything else with us apart from drivers licence (both parts) and V5? (Like IASCA)

Anything else I need to know for when I get there? This is my first EMMA competition.

Thanks :)

Youy do for IASCA, I think you need it for EMMA too.

Need V5 to prove that you are the owner of the car. You get points for your verbal presentation of the system. You could get someone else to do a really professional presentation for you, for more points. But their name wouldn't be on the V5 ;)

Cor, this all sounds a bit serious, why would you let someone else present your car if its all your own work (or even if its not). I only want some advice on how to tweek my system and to find out how the SQ stacks up against similarly priced systems :o

I've simply not had time to do any preparation for this, I'm gonna lose points on my wiring as that was all put in before I ever considered entering a comp to its not tied down and none of my cables have protection either, also I don't have any photos nor a printer to print them on if I did. Oh well... I have done a simple system schematic of my system if that counts for anything :clown:

I haven't had my car all week. It's still not 100% certain I'll have it back in time for Saturday.

I've done minimal preparation too. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just go and enjoy the experience.

You'll receive some top notch advice on how to improve your system for both SQ and installation. If you're not fussed about competing full time then take the advice given and choose which to act on. I know I'm going to lose points in certain areas too. I really need some set up advice. Take from the day what you want. :)

I've never fully understood the V5 ruling either. Maybe one of the judges can explain it a little better.

CHILL EVERYONE YOU DON'T NEED YOUR V.5 FOR THIS EVENT..:D :D

The criteria is that the owner main user or designated passenger of the vehicle may do the presentation.
In national & European final events it must be the owner or main user only.
