I was having a listen to the current EMMA disc at lunchtime and I noticed something odd.....

Track 17, when the guy is talking at the begining, I can hear two thumps from my sub :confused:

They are not very loud but they are certainly there. Is this some strange problem with my system or is it on the disc?

Anyone?

It's not sounding so good right now. I'm changing a couple of drivers. Might change tweeters too. Lots to do and not a lot of time to do it in.

It'll be like starting from scratch again as far as tuning is concerned! :wow: :shake:

I have lots of stuff -mostly little annoying or tricky things- to do before the next one (well, T14 really now that I'm competiting in EMMA). I haven't touched the car since Turners and you know how many problems I had with certain things. Plus my front door have decided to vibrate, rattle and creak on almost every note at any volume. Grrrrrr..... :evil:

Your door drivers are connected directly to the door metal work? So you can take the card off and run the speaker on the door?

Take bits off one by one and play the speaker. I ended up with my arm inside the door skin with the driver playing trying to find a rattle. That worked for me anyway :)

That's a really good idea. I've had the doors off twice now trying to source and cure the rattles to no improvements. They came off for the tint people and I put them back on so carefully and it still rattles and creaks.

although, I finally ordered those sticky cable tie things so that's 1 extra point on install I guess :lol: Other than that, I haven't touched anything!
