just seen this eDead rubber based paint that competes against the matting, is it any good? does it compare to matting?

usual comparisons like the dynamat against roofing felt etc but is there any trade rubber or bitumen paint out there similar to this product?

its a water based latex compound if that helps you, smells a bit soapy.

not really, if you was to mix the latex with something to add mass (lead dust or sand) and something that is mor eplastic than elastic (clay) and could make them all successfully mix together them you could make your own sound deadening. to be honest I'd just buy something designed for the purpose, how about the second skin sludge or spectrum if you intend to spray it.
