hi, i have a 1996 renault megane and anytime i go over bumpy roads or play loud music, the drivers side door panel rattles and is loud and annoying. i was wondering what sound deadening i can use without spending more than £50.
thanks

This will do nicely in the doors - http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=4851 Secure all the wires and stuff and put some of this in each door - you'll notice less road noise and get more bass as well as getting rid of rattles.

I would have thought that this would be ideal to prevent rattles: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=4856
Damplifier pro won't be so good at stopping rattles, although it would probably help (depending on what's rattling)
12 sq foot of deadening should just about do a Megane 1996 door. that is 2 layers outter skin and 2 layers inner skin totally sealing up the door.
Mulletboy2 and myself used around 16 Sq ft on my 1996 Megane.
We had to remove a lot of the pastic in the door though.
Main problem is do the inner skin too thick and the doorcards may never go on well again.
