Im going to sound deaden my front doors but im on a super tight budget and only have 3 sheets af dynamat extreme to do it with (Merci Monseir Miami for one of those sheets)

im just wondering what would be the best use - do i use it mainly to deaden and seal the inner skin or should i pay more attention to the outerskin?

im thinking of using whats left at the bottom to cover the wholes on the right of the pic

any ideas/suggestions/help would be great

The aim is to seal up the door but!!! Bear in mind if you just do the inner skin you will have to tear it all out to do the outerskin in the future so.....

My sugestion is do at least one good layer on the outer skin (preff 2 layers behind midbass unit) using extreme and then use some cheapy stuff from a DIY store to do the inner skin and seal up the holes.

i dont have any spare cash at all so am gonna do the following

I have 2 full sheets which after measuring up i think will seal a door each.

I then have 2 half sheets which i will use to do the outer skin (mainly behind the speaker

I feel at the moment the main problem is the doors aint sealed enough - I have a couple of sheets of flashband already on the outer skins

would this be the best improvement i could make taking into account the fact i cant spend any money (and holding off until i can afford it is not an option - the missus has imposed a no ICE spending ban until we get married in march next year)

no ice. ayh "going down the pub dear" this pub is actually a mate who you give your pint monies to(it will get wet in the safe) and he will buy the dynamat.. and then you can say i got offcuts form the lads.

tut tut i could never be that dishonest to my future wife, im thinking of giving up all of ICE and selling it all to pay for diamonds

did you do the outer skin too? (think i've got that the right way round, the skin which is on the outside wall of the door).

i did some yes - my main focus was sealing the doors

i put 2 layers about 8inches square behind each driver
