Class 5 TALON Rules # Competitors may use the music/source material of their choice while competing. # The source material being played must originate from a source unit designed for a car audio environment. # The vehicle must not be running during the measurement session. # Competitors may remain inside of the vehicle during metering (should they wish!). # When the metering process begins, contestants will have 30 seconds to achieve their highest Sound Pressure Level (SPL). # Contestants may not open their vehicle during the metering process, doing so will void the current score. # The class a competitor competes in is dictated by the number of woofers in their system # All results will be logged and posted online for other users to view. # SPL will be measured at frequencies below 80hz # All box designs are admissible, including (but not limited to) sealed, ported, bandpass, transmission line and passive radiators
