Not an objective question ... well!

In Holland we've just received our first Tru amp distributor, aside from Xtant (check the signature!), Zapco and Tru, can anyone recommend a "REAL" player in the game of high-end SQ amps?

Okay, Genesis, Phoenix and Soundstream will be suggested, however I'm looking for more esotoric ideas? Or can someone give a valid debate towards Tru?

How about sinfoni?

the new £5k sinfoni Desiderio should do the trick.

Are there no high end brands from Holland?

There's no such thing as the best amp in the world is there?

That Audison looks a mighty impressive bit of kit though

Lifetime warranty, gold-plated serial no. plaque.... stable from 0.5 to 16ohms :)

I'd love a few of those, that would be amazing :D

I agree Harry,

I think it's kinda like extreme-prestige motors, Rolls Royces etc- With those, if you have to ask how much it is, you can't afford it... With these, I think as far as power ratings go on it... you don't have to ask if it does XXXWRMS... It's just "enough" ;)

Definitely Add Audison on...

I guess I'm in love with my DLS amps. I know that Audison is just the "Bentley" of the car audio amplifier world, but I will never ever get rid of my amps. Why? Because they are what I need and more, and that is, what I consider, the best amp in the world:D

Yeah - can't fault the workmanship on the tru tech boards, can you - they really are wonderful.

I guess you are going to look at Zapco/Arc (really very very similar) and the like as well.

Ends are not bad things, they just mean that something else is about to begin.

One of my friends is competing with Zapco Competition Series amps (currently with 2, but for this season in "Pro" class he's fitting 4!) and CDT Audio speakers/subs. I like Zapco, it looks really good, however it's a wee bit 'soft' in it's dynamics for my ears.

Unfortunately, in Holland we don't really have a great variety of brands, with RF probably number 1, with Ground Zero and Audiobahn starting to move up the ranks rapidly. High-end here only really consists of Zapco, Sinfonie, Diamond Audio, DLS/Genesis and, well, unfortunately, that's about it!

That's why I want a wee bit more info on the Tru gear, as I mentioned in my original post they've just arrived in Holland this week, so I'm not sure of the important things; build-quality, longevity, customer support and back-up, etc. With Xtant I've received superb back-up, albeit, in the abscence of an importer in Holland (I self-imported them from the US), normally necessitating a call to Arizona! But I'm always on the look out for something unusual, high-end and esoteric, particularily as I've the CRX Vtec to equip before the start of this years tuning season.
