TITANS OF BASS Event - 20th July

Morning all - what a booming evening we had  :)

Many thanks to all that turned up - I`ll be saying more later on.

(((pd))) tested approx 32 different systems last night.

The loudest TITAN of BASS on the night was Mark Smith of Team ICE - with an average score of 158.7dB  :win:

Wayne Higley of Team Hz Addiction was a close 158.2dB

Well done to both SPL teams for getting both their cars into the event.
I know you guys had lots of problems and it was a really great experience to have both your motors up against each other.

Top effort! - thanks Team ICE / Team Hz Addiction.

Also Thanks to Adam Rayner - expect a TITANIC write up and feature onwww.talkaudio.co.uk.

In the mean time I`ll leave you with just 3 pics.

O.K. sorry I didn`t post up yesterday things got busy.

So here we are the scores from the Titans of Bass event. smiley.gif

Well done to all and to the newcomers  bass1.GIF Some of which did very well on their first time through the lanes  thumbsup.gif

Good to see the usual SPL teams in the lanes - Some newbies from VX Incar - and Team Waffle seem to be all over the place  dizzy2.gif

Loving John Jarrets BBX system which is now hitting over 148dB with 6x jbl 12"s
Billz!! Nice one on your No Wall system, only 0.1dB off the 150dB average.
Dan you greedy man! Entering two different systems at one event with your home cinema box-
BTW people this was allowed because he told me in advance that he wanted to enter two different categories regardless if he did well or not in each one - seperate fees still apply per system / category.

What is not allowed is someone turning up and competing in one category and the dropping down to another because they could do better / stand a better chance of winning.

Anybody wanting to enter the same vehicle but in two different classes has to let me know in advance. thanks.

Out of the newbies the stand out system was Dereks wall with 4x Orion HCCAs hitting 154dB+ - Well done that man - every time I met him at the beckton meets I was always telling him to seal it all of, he did and got a plaque for his efforts  thumbsup.gif

Well done to Simon who Averaged over 140dB with his single Brand "X" Audio 12" subwoofer :)

Off course the evening wouldn`t be what it was without the two LOUDEST SPL teams on the pd circuit battling it out in the lanes.  Fantastic scores from both systems and to think there`s sheds more to come from these awesome systems as one has old / failing batteries and the other has faulty subs  shocked.gif   bass1.GIF yes.gif

Anyway here are the scores.

Ah!  I got a video of that - didn`t turn out well though as it looked a bit dark - I`ll see if I can post it up.

It was crazy that the Vibe speaker wouldn`t die    10Hz for ages and then music and it wouldn`t die  :wow: .

Next time you`ll have to shove 1500wrms up it instead of 700wrms  :smokin:
