2001Y Mondeo 2.0 Zetec MK3 82k
Panther Black, Cream interior, 18" wheels.
Nice condition inside & out
12 month MOT, 6 months tax
Wheel bearing & track rod ends being replaced
Central locking bug, remote sometimes plays up
Damaged air con rad.

Runs and drives beautifully, engine sweet & punchy, looks nicer than your average mk3 too.

Was looking to advertise it at around £1500 but someone at work seems very interested.

Car is long gone. Let it go to a work mate for £1400 as he's going to fix the problems himself. Probably too cheap with 6 months tax on it but he's got a cheap car and I got rid without having to fix faults or worry about any potential comeback.

You got good money, I'd probably have said 1k, 1.2k if super tidy and in perfect nick. To be fair its more a case of what someone will pay. Quick sale can sometimes be worth shaving the price down a bit.

There wasn't much on autotrader with that sort of milage, wheels and interior were unmarked and other than two car park dings it was spotless. Think it was fair with a full mot, new bosch battery, recent tyres and tax was worth £130 by itself. He's more than happy anyway and I got its replacement free so it turned out well all round!

You could probably have got good money for the wheels on their own, when I was looking I got a bargain set of stock alloys, but the 18's were going for serious wedge.

Still, its gone, happy days. :D

I did think that but without them it was a plain standard Mondeo and I'd have needed to buy some others. The wheels make it look smart and hopefully decent value. They didn't leak any air which I'm told is a common problem. But as said, meh, it's gone, I'm happy with what I took and now I get to hold a walnut steering wheel every day whilst admiring the cream leather. 27 going on 72!!!
