I know it says the build has to end in the boot with the exception of an MDF roof, however if you were to remove the rear quarter panel trim pieces and deaden and then MDF over them, then put the trim back on is that legal?

any structural support is allowed. From what i have gathered as long as you dont glue or fix it to you box you will be ok.

This makes my next project interesting...
Think ive found a hole :D
im GOING to get a 150 from a single sub in the boot if it kills me.
Ash got a 148 with a flexing roof and deadener.
My determination and stupidity make this very possible.

I see a problem. Mainly that your car is walled which dosent leave much room for a boot install!

Why? Rear seats are a waste of bass-space!

Yeah, but im gunna have my fun with this then get a mortgage, an SMD 18 and ill already have the 3.5k to stick up its chuff!
You can get 6.8 cubes from a golf boot.
Seriously though, i used to love seeing peoples faces when they saw it was one sub in the boot.

You can get more than that. I got about 11-12 cubes from an escort boot!

one minute brand x subs then dc subs now smd subs not sure in which order,which are you really going to be using for your 150 from the boot vw basser. last you said in a post is you had just got a call offering you another brand cheaper when i asked what you would be changing to you said dc audio so tell what are you really doing.
