Do you have to use 4 mids? A single good set will be able to handle similar power and have similar output. Especially if you go second hand.

well i have heard lots of single set ups and they dont get lould enough or have enough midbass ...i have ready started making the pods for 2 mid a side..and with 2x15's in the back its seems like a must have.

DjUPLIFT:
the mk4 is quite diffrent to the mk2 doors...i installed a set of 6.5 alpine type-e in sis car running of the headuint and they sound good..even the Stock speakers amp'd have afair amount of bass....Thanks For the Offer tho mate.

Ha ha the good old point of no return.
I will be using 360w RMS on each of my Morel Elate mids. The most i have put through them before now is about 150w and they were good for keeping up with around 140 db of sub bass.

Not that i will be using the whole power as i am only using a little 10" sub this time round. Its more for SQ so i have plenty of head room on the Gain but still the mid bass will be intense. :clown:

I've got SEK-60 (kinda in-between the 2 shown here) Vibe CBR12 sub(no longer active) and Vibe 4awg cable but I can assure you that Vibe will not be getting another penny from me. (If that helps!)
Something from the classifieds here, thats your best bet and when i've got some money together for a couple of nice 12" JL subs, thats exactly where i'll be looking!!

I had some vibe comps a few years ago and wasn't happy with them, the tweets were far to harsh and no midbass and they were amped @ 100w rms and the doors were fully deadened.
I'm now running a set of cheap ( cost me £5 second hand) JBL comps and they are fantastic in comparison and a set of matching 5" comps and they keep up with my 2x 12's
