Hello !

I really don't know what would get me the best result.
My system will include:
HU- Pioneer P90RS combo
Comp- DLS Scandinavia 3 way
Sub- I'll probably stay with my Morel Ultimo
Monoblock- Currently Sundown SAZ1500D might be changed to A\B class like DLS A6.

My options are:
Used (well treated) Billet Six (1625$)
New Celestra RA, RA220X + RA475X (2000$)
New DLS Ultimate 3xA3 ((2137$)

I currently have the Billet 475 on DLS UP6I and it gives good sound combination, would 3 twin mono's A3 create a better sound because of the "harmony" of same components and amplifiers or maybe a company that specializes in amplifiers like Celestra or TRU would be better ?

At the weekend I'll try to install the RA475X instead of my Billet 475 and I'll might have a clue about the difference that would be with the Scandinavia.

I can also try Sinfoni and Genesis amps but I think they would be more expensive for me.

I would consider the DLS A4 for mid and tweeters, and an A3 for midbass.

The A4 is probably the nicest sounding amp in the DLS range, short of the TA2.

For me - out of those listed, if you can afford it, it would be the Celestra RA220X :smokin:

Haven't heard the Billet Six but the DLS I would say is compareable to the Genesis series 3 amplifiers and the Celestra is compareable to Sinfoni and I know that Sinfoni is smoother than the Genesis to my ears. The celestra I heard wasn't even the RA220X which is supposed to be another level altogether (SPX Range).

Which option would be the best on my Scandinavia ?
Have anyone heard 2 or 3 of the options on DLS speakers ?
I heard only the Genny ST60 on my DLS up6i tweeters and wasn't inpressed an my last TRU Billet.
I'd be glad to hear people that tried these amps on DLS speakers.
Is there any advantage running DLS speakers with the DLS amplifiers ?

I run Scandinavia 3-way on 3 DLS Ultimate amps:
A3 - midbass
A2 - midrange
A5 - tw + subwoofer

It's sounds great......I just to like a good strong bass....now all I want to hear is Scandi 1 and 3......These to drivers sound awesome!

Have you heard your speakers with another amplifier ?
I'm sure 3xA3 would sound very good, but it's the most expensive option and not neccesary the best.

no, i didn't hear with any other amp.
But you probably don't need so much power (A3) on midrange and tweeter...
I can listen music on my system really loud without any distortion.....it just plays and plays.....it's a good feeling to listen to music (SQ) quite loud.....

Aruns car is running an A4 on Scandinavia mids and tweeters and an A3 on Scandinavia midbass, and it sounds great. :)
