Hi,

I got a 6 months driving ban in December of 2005.
The endorsement was a TT99.
I had 2 x SP30 (6pts) & 1 x SP60 (3pts) then I got a CD10 (6pts) which took me to 15 points therefore I got the TT99 & a 6 month ban.

When I got the TT99 that wiped my licence clean and left me with just the TT99 on my licence but I still have to declare all the points to my insurance.

All the speeding endorsements were more than 5 years ago so now I'm only declaring the CD10 & TT99.

My question is: How long does the TT99 stay on my licence for?

I've looked on the DVLA website and the Police website and both talk about TT99's but neither say how long it lasts for.

DVLA website:
http://www.direct.go...ions/DG_4022550

Police website:
https://www.askthe.p...ontent/Q368.htm

If anyone can tell me when the TT99 will come off my licence it would be much appreciated. And if there's a website for reference that would be great. :cheese:

Cheers chaps... Mick. :beam:

Nah m8,

I've grown up and slowed down in the last 5 years. :surprised

Its much cheaper when your not thrashing the pants off your car and destroying engines.

Unfortunately we've all gotta grow up some time. :D

It wasn't directed at anyone specifically, it was a generalisation. There is no need for anyone to grow up, or mature, or whatever you want to call it.

However, at some point in everyones life, there is a need to stop being a tw@t?

Nope, you're right; I don't. A casual glance every now and then nas been enough to keep my licence clean for 30 years.

What the gimp said :D

Ends are not bad things, they just mean that something else is about to begin.

And there are many things that don't really end, anyway, they just begin again in a new way.

Ends are not bad and many ends aren't really an ending; some things are never-ending.

As far as driving like a **** goes it is something you "grow" out of and is a case of growing up...some people have never had that phase but a lot of people do and it is very much a maturity thing imo...

We wont know, and we dont care.

To be fair, if I now met my former self coming the other way I would say "that lads driving like a tw#t"!

I won't deny it, I used to love driving fast and got really frustrated if somebody was driving slower in front of me.

But I've grown out of that, chilled out and slowed down a lot.

I'm just glad I never hit anyone while I was being that tw#t.

Mick. :)
