Are they any good? I've been offered a pair for free but would have to collect and it means calling a cab. Worth the £20 cab trip?

Not sure, but I think they are the ones that were sold out of the back of a Van, claiming they had loaded a pair too much at the factory.

Of is this the brand that says "by Bose" under the name?

Or am I mixing it up with Soundcraft?

Oh god, my memory has gone...

Is it a ~3ft high 3 way with 10 or 12" woofer?

My bro used a Studio~ or Sound~ in his studio for years and was happy with them. I liked his Tandbergs a lot more... but not sure whether that was the sound or the brandwhore within me speaking...

Have a look on Google, they don't seem to be that good. Depends what you want really.

Well being old they will not take a great deal of power but be quite efficient in a large box. Just get her to check the surrounds are not perished.

Not the ones I had in mind...

They are the 'Made by Bose'-things.
Found a few on the Dutch-fleabay-look-a-like and they were all 85dB :chunks:
